Why "Doctor"?
After earning my PhD in environmental history, and building a twenty-year Higher Education career as a professor, researcher, author, public speaker, and consultant, I define the word “doctor” as meaning “to teach, with three core goals - to treat, to repair, and to heal,” from the “doctor’s” original Latin root “docere".

Dr. Rob has trained across a wide range of leading breath modalities, including Peak Flow, the Buteyko Method, Oxygen Advantage, the Wim Hof Method, Deep End Fitness, and Sonic Anatomy. He now travels the world coaching “Team Human” in the art of conscious, strategic breathing.
He serves as Head of Education for Nordic Wellness and co-created Peak Flow’s 24/7 breath training ecosystem in 2020, sharing these tools with everyone from Olympic-level athletes to 95-year-old grandmothers navigating asthma.
A devoted student of nature and experience, he draws inspiration from cold plunges and hot saunas, high peaks and deep oceans, and the simple power of good food and real human connection.
